I just received my new Mac Pro (5,1) replacing my 1,1. I have been using a Belkin N52te speedpad for World of Warcraft for over 4 years with never an issue. However, after importing all my info to the new Mac Pro, the speedpad is not recognised. I have reinstalled the latest (2/2009) driver, but still nothing. When in the System Pref pane for it, in the device tab, is says "no device connected" even though it is.
Any suggestions folks? I have been using it for so long that WoW without it is just not an option.
I put the boot HD from my old Mac into a drive bay on the new one. Started the new one, then selected the HD as the source to import from. Standard Apple import with a new Mac.
And yes it does work in 32 bit, the same way it worked on the old Mac. Both are running the latest OS version.
About to try booting from the old Mac's drive. Will post results.
