Hi, I also having same problem, after hard reset, i cannot activate my ipad, i reinstalled itunes, and connect my ipad to itune but received " 'We are unable to continue with your activation at this time..". and Ipad automatically turn off , and then turn on again..it repeat again and again. please help to solve this problem. thanks.
I have same problem.I tried without sim card but still the same problem.
hi, i've had the same problem and i just resolved in this way.
I've used ireb for windows... put my ipad in dfu mode e then in the tab "recovery mode loop fixer"
select "set auto boot true"
I've then just upgrade to 4.3.3 and magically activate.
let me know...
if I'm using OSX - any solution please?

i have ipad and iphone 3gs
both updated to newest software ... and both are stuck on stupid screen saying :
"we are sorry ,We are unable to complete your activation at this time."
This is a problem for me , and it seems that Apple does not get back to the customers . there for why does everyone buy these products if there no support!!!
i have diabled anti-virus - firewalls... and i still have this stupid problem... i tried on 2 different PC's both windows xp. both on different service providers... ( Telkom ADSL ) and (Neotel) both same problem ...
i have removed simcard from ipad... and still does not unlock...
Can anyone in Apple Support please tell me what is going on... or how i can unlock these iDevice's ???
I bought a 2nd hand IPAD 16gb 3g and also has same problem. First, no 3G service (though wifi, bluetooth, apps function well) and when i restore it could not be activated. Seems it happened both new or used one but only 3G model and FW4.3.3. So I believe this originate from OS problem not hardware issue.
The only solution is to replace by new one if your IPAD/Iphone is still under waranty according to feedback from authorized Apple service provider. Otherwise, throw it away!!!!
Searching but still not get efficient feedback from Apple.
There have been issues with iTunes tonight. If you don't get it up and running, you can of course throw it away, but please let someone know where you threw it, as once the servers are all up and online, activation should not be an issue.

i need the files urgently as it is my proposal for writing assignments. i need a miracle for my ipad to work.
Just had this same issue - rebooted the Mac Air and the iPad is restored from the back up

this assumes you have a back-up to start with, when you have a new/econd hand one that you never connected to your computer, this is not the case.
