I'm glad the problem seemd to be fixed. But could anyone tell me, if this setting 'rgb high' affect any quality reduction? In fact, do we still have 720p? -

bottom line is it is still in beta and not officially released and therefore can't be discussed on this forum due to apple's policies.
but read the last few pages you may find some pointers -

Now we have to wait for the official release and the other IOS update to fully experience the Airplay video sharing features with the ATV. -

The first one, that I get the message "Unkown videoformat (translated)" after switching the hdmi input to apple tv, seems to be gone.
The second one I experienced is, that after about 5 minutes, Apple TV gets black for about 2-3 seconds. After the first appearance, it never occurs again. Just after the first few minutes... -
Feb 6, 2011 12:33 PM in response to Arcade99by keeweex,Same problem as the rest of you describe with a 40" Sony Bravia; tried swopping leads and HDMI sockets but same problem with downloaded content in particular. Wouldn't mind but sold my whole DVD collection and now I can't watch a movie without getting up and unplugging and re-plugging the HDMI lead. Roll on the software update or this baby will have to go back and I'll try a different device - shame neat little bit of kit. -

I wouldn't buy a new piece of hardware when it looks like the problem is close to being solved. A lot of people have reported that the problem goes away when they install the beta of the next Apple TV update. -
