iTunes Ping Cannot Connect

Hi, installed the new itunes a few days ago. Was interested in ping however whenever i try connect i get the error 400: We could not complete your itunes store request an unknown error occurred. I can connect to itunes store just fine, just not ping :S Any ideas? Thanks<3
