I have my unibody MBP hooked up to my HDTV. I recently purchased a bluetooth keyboard and a magic trackpad. Everything is working fine, except when I want to put the computer to sleep. When I manually turn off the trackpad or keyboard after the MCB is in sleep mode it wakes the MBP, presumably to tell me the keyboard/trackpad have been turned off.
Am I forced to leave the keyboard and trackpad on (draining batteries) or to manually open the MCB and put it to sleep, or is there another solution?
Thanks.

Bluetooth Keyboard and Magic Trackpad
Telling the system to NOT wake the system when interacting with a Bluetooth keyboard/mouse/trackpad will prevent the system from waking when turning the devices off. However, because the system cannot re-establish the connections while it is sleeping (the Bluetooth radio I assume is also put to sleep in this scenario), you would have to open the MBP to wake the system anyway.
If you want to use the trackpad or Bluetooth keyboard to wake the system, you must leave the option to wake the system on and keep the trackpad connected (on). The system doesn't seem to be set up to simply assume that devices will still be there; it has to respond to any decent amount of activity, and I guess that Apple has it set up to respond to any button presses.
