Network Preferneces

Hi,

I have just started Uni and my Uni requires that I create two separate locations in my Network preferences. One for Wireless and one for Ethernet connection, it will not connect if I leave it on AUTOMATIC. Is there anyway possible for it to be able to automatically detect where I am. I always have to go into preferences and change the location manually. If I could stream line this process that would be ideal.

Sys Prefs, Network, Advanced, Remember networks this computer has joined, OK.

I have done that but I still have to go into system preferences to change the location from Automatic (as I have had to add the network manually as instructed by my Uni) to my Universities location. Is there another way so I can stop the tedious way of doing it. Maybe something with Automater?

I do not understand, either because there is not enough information provided (like step by step exactly what you have to do to join the network each time) or it is beyond what I know about networking (that would not be surprising). You may find help in the AirPort or OSX forums; I would post there if no additional help is forthcoming here.
