Newbie question: Vocal pitch correction in LogicPro ?

Hi, I'm new... to the Mac, to Logic Pro, and to this forum.

I previously used Cakewalk's (Sonar 5) V-Vocal module to correct my out-of-tune singing. V-Vocal has a simple interface with a graphic timeline showing the vocal pitch, and enabling manual tweaking. Does Logic Pro have a similar interface? I've read about pitch correction effect in Logic Pro Help ... Is this the best thing to start with?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions,
Andy117

The Pitch Correction plug in won't do graphic manual adjustments, if that is what you are asking. I have a number of pitch plugs, and the logic one is better, in my opinion, than the Antares Autotune when used as a real time plug, It just seems to read better and sound more natural. The waves one is ok, but no better than the inbuilt logic one.

But for graphic manipulation of pitch, I think most forum members would agree that Melodyne wins hands down.

I agree melodyne is really good, almost depressing it's so good and not just on vox. I have used it on violin, guitar as well. The logic pitch is good but if you push it to much trying to make a bad singer sound half decent you just end up making them sound like Kanye West. Personally I don't like pitch correction I'd rather do another take, but If you do a lot of it go for melodyne it wont dissapoint....
