Mail Quits directly after opening.

On iPad I have my MobileMe email and another (pop) account. Both have worked fine since I bought the iPad 2 weeks ago, until today. Now, on opening Mail App it quits immediately if the PoP account is active. It does NOT quit when the MobileMe account is active. I have done the following:
Reset iPad
Deleted Mail account
Done both above in reverse order.
Added PoP account again and repeated above.
Disabled PoP account and re enabled.
Mail still quits immediately if PoP account active.
OS 3.2.2

Any Ideas?

iPad, iPhone OS 3.1.2, iMac 20' Power Book G4 iPhone 3G

Can you check the POP account on a computer or WebMail to look for abnormalities in messages. Some people have reported similar problem if there was a an undelivered message.

I have had a look and I suspected this might be the case and deleted recents, but I will delete a few more via webmail and see what happens.

Deleted 3 days emails and reset and disabled/enabled. Also reduced viewed messages from 200 to 25, and reduced preview to zero lines, then 2 lines. Still Quits immediately PoP account active.

Any other ideas.

Eventually, after deleting nearly a weeks worth of emails by webmail, I deleted then reinstalled my PoP mail and the iPad now works fine again. Did not find which email was the culprit but it was obviously one of the ones I deleted.
