Mail Quits directly after opening.

On iPad I have my MobileMe email and another (pop) account. Both have worked fine since I bought the iPad 2 weeks ago, until today. Now, on opening Mail App it quits immediately if the PoP account is active. It does NOT quit when the MobileMe account is active. I have done the following:
Reset iPad
Deleted Mail account
Done both above in reverse order.
Added PoP account again and repeated above.
Disabled PoP account and re enabled.
Mail still quits immediately if PoP account active.
OS 3.2.2

Any Ideas?

iPad, iPhone OS 3.1.2, iMac 20' Power Book G4 iPhone 3G
