emac Terminal Games (Tetris, Pong, etc)

Has Apple removed these from the latest update? I can no longer activate these games in the Terminal like I used to. Thanks for reading!

Thanks for the quick reply, Michael. However, this seems to be a different way of accessing it than in the past, so I am still stumped. I load "emacs", and am presented with the emacs interface. From there, I do not know what to do. Thanks for bearing with me!

I don't remember the exact way I did it, but I felt like it was different than the way you described to me. Is it possible to load the directory for those games? So I know what all I can play? Immediately I could think of Tetris, and Doctor. Know of any more?

You can do this yourself: copy and paste the following into the Terminal window, one line at a time, with a return after each line:

cd /usr/share/emacs/21.2/lisp/play
ls -l | more

Hit space to get the next screenfull.

Alternatively:

Tavo,

Please scan the thread again and look for Michael's post marked with the big green star indicating the issue is "Solved". This solution presumes you already know how to launch and send commands to emacs. If you need more help, best to start a new thread. Happy gaming!

Hey! Awesome! Games!

However, when i get to that directory, and try to open any file, it gives the following error:

/usr/share/emacs/21.2/lisp/play (computername)$ pong
-bash: pong: command not found

what does that mean?
