Printing a selection

I cant figure out how to print only a selection. If i have a list of 20 or 30 how can I select only a few of them and print that selection.

m,

Using the Copy / Paste method is good if you don't have any equations involved. If there are any formulas in your table, you would want to use Copy / Paste Values.

I method that I particularly like is to Select and Copy the range you want to print. Then open Preview.app and File > New from Clipboard. Then Print the Preview document.

HEY, APPLE. Are you listening? It is time to catch up with Excel.

It seems that you forgot that here you aren't speaking to Apple representatives but to end users like you.

If you really want to tell something to Apple, use the dedicated channel :

_Go to "Provide Numbers Feedback" in the "Numbers" menu_, describe what you wish.
Then, cross your fingers, and wait _at least_ for iWork'11 😉

_Go to "Provide Pages Feedback" in the "Pages" menu_, describe what you wish.
Then, cross your fingers, and wait _at least_ for iWork'11 😉
