Thanks, but that didn't work with me. Maybe because the video was too big (says iPhone) to send anywhere, so I had to edit out a chunk of it to send? Speaking of which, is there a way to get the whole thing to my main computer, even though the iPhone says the video is too large to e-mail? If I could do that, then maybe the information in iPhoto would tell me the date.
That is exactly why. The portion of the video you saved and sent via email has the date you saved the portion of the video.
When there are photos and/or videos in the iPhone's Camera Roll, the iPhone is also detected as a digital camera when connected to a computer. Photos and/or videos in the Camera Roll can and should be imported by your computer as with any other digital camera.
You can use iPhoto or the Image Capture application for this.
This type of info is included with the iPhone user guide. Apple includes a Safari bookmark to the user guide on the iPhone.
