Game Center: How to remove uninstalled games?

I've deleted the game from iTunes and from the iPhone, and it still shows up on the Games List. How do I remove games I have uninstalled? Is it possible?

I don't want anything do with it anymore, and having the game show up on the list is rather annoying, given that I didn't like it in the first place (hence it being uninstalled).

Thanks... I hope on the next update this little hiccup should be resolved.

Perhaps a way to - from Game Center itself - to unlink any installed games, or at least detect games that have been unistalled and give an option to remove them as well. Without having to do what I did, which was install again and uninstall from the iPhone as Mindzi suggested.

It worked for me.

I re-installed the game using the appstore on my iPad, then deleted it by touching and holding the icon until it started to jiggle, it asked me if I wanted to delete data on the leadership board. My iPad was NOT connected to iTunes.

I dont know if this helps, but I then shut down and re-started my iPad and the game in game center was gone.

I have the latest IOS 4.3.3 (8J3)

I would also suggest that you then delete the game from iTunes before you connect your device, so that it doesnt sync the app again.

Hope this helps you all.

I have the same problem. I deleted a game from my iPhone and when asked if I wanted to delete all Game Center data, I said yes. However, that now deleted game still appears in my Game Center list. Also, this game is no longer available in the App Store so I cannot reinstall and remove it again to see if that works. Hopefully Apple creates an option to remove specific game data directly from Game Center. If anyone knows a fix, please let me know.

I clearly understand what did you mean. I have the same proble as well and it is so annoying. Because once you miss the chance when it ask you to remove from Game Centre and you will unable to remove it again. So my advice which is also the only way to remove that is to reinstall your game and delete it, so this time round you must not miss the notification again 😀 I hope you get what i said.

I have reinstalled and then deleted an app and made sure to select "remove from game center" when prompted, however, the game still appears in game center. I have tried to do this several times to no avail. Although this method has worked for other games that I have deleted, it does not work with Word Scramble Challenge Edition by Zynga. Does anyone have a solution? Please help! Thanks!

the secret is ...

1. reinstall on yoru iPad or iPhone,

2. PLAY ONE GAME

3. THEN delete from your iPad/iPhone.

it will ask you if you really want to delete, and then it will ask you if you want to remove from GameCenter.

That's it. it's ridiculous, Apple need to add a "delete" button inside the GameCenter, particularly given that most games are total crap and you only buy them to test them once.

There are some games that wont ask you to remove data from Game Center even doing that.

In my case, i have tried almost all to remove the game "Canabalt" (playing one game, a few of them, rebooting my iphone, installing it in other iphone with my apple ID loged in...and some other ways) but it never ask me to remove the data from Game Center.

Hope IOS 6 fix this adding that "delete" buttom you are talking about!

If I'm not wrong. You might have misunderstood it. As what you mentioned, those keep coming back games are the recommendation games which is endless. After you delete it, it will still load back. So I think you are talking about this, and it doesn't affect anything. It's just the suggestion game. For your own recorded games are under the bar of the recommendation, is labeled with ios games and that is your actual own game record :)

No, it's the games installed on my devices I can't delete from Game Center. Only on Game Center on my Mac the right games seem to appear. It might be because I'm trying to delete the games from Game Center while leaving the games installed on my device. After deleting a game GC asks if I want to uninstall the game as well, and when I tell it not to the game will come back. Sometimes directly, sometimes after a few hours. Very annoying. Also it shows different games on my iPad and my iPhone, GC on iPad seems to only show my iPad games, while iPhone shows both iPhone and iPad (only) games.
