HDMI 1.3, how to tell if your set supports it before buying ATV?

I was reading a review saying part of the problem with the wavy lines of the Apple TV version 2 is whether or not the HDMI is 1.3 or not. I looked on Sony's spec webpage, and don't see the version of the HDMI for my Bravia XBR9 40" and 52" sets. Is there a way to tell before receiving the AppleTV if it will be affected by the version of the HDMI or not?
