No Trash / Recycle Bin...

After my son accidentally deleted an important Note on my wife's iPad, I discovered that it had no Trash / Recycle Bin... And so that the Note was lost.

This was a bit of a shock, especially from the inventor of the Trash / Recycle Bin. Then I checked my wife's iPhone and it doesn't seem to have a Trash / Recycle Bin either. (Another deterrent for me to get one, with AT&T.)

So my questions are:
* Is the Trash / Recycle Bin in fact there somewhere and I am just missing it? Or if not:
* Are there ways to restore deleted items nevertheless?

Ranting and complaning isn't allowed in any of these technical support forums and ranting and complaining in a 5 year old posting IS definitely not allowed, either.

And you complaints are inapprpriately stated.

Plus, your reply seems to be about your iPhone and not about iPads.

Which make your any/complaint even more irrelevent here!

This IS the iPad support area.

The only way to get Apple to listen to you is to use their feedback portion of their website. Apple DOES read the feedback, but they still do not respond with any personal replies.

You would think that Apple would have a trash bin where you could recover items you accidentally deleted. No one is

perfect, we all make mistakes. For the money we spend, you'd think they would at least have a recovery system.

Lately, I'm getting real disenchanted with Apple. They're getting on the last good nerve I have and they really suck.

For instance, they have a way to block numbers on the phone, but first you have to make them a contact. Then if you delete the contact, they're no longer blocked. Pretty soon, you have a bunch of contacts that you blocked (and no garbage can to toss them in either)

The only way you can block them is by an outside app. Then you have unwanted ads and those apps suck too! Most don't block unwanted calls until after they call and you enter their name and number to the list. ****

There is no trash/recycle bin on the iPad which allows you to restore deleted items - once a note is deleted the only way that you may be able to restore it is to do a restore via iTunes (but that assumes that the note was on the iPad when you last backed it up, and that you havn't created any other notes since the backup, as I think that the restore would remove them).
