Nikon .NRW Raw File Format supported?

Does anyone know if the the Nikon .NRW RAW format is supported for post processing in Aperture 3. It is in v. 2.2.5 of Capture NX2, but .. Aperture 3? This is the RAW format used for example in NIkon's new P7000 Coolpix which can (sort of) process its NRW RAW files in Camera.
Thanks

it uses the same Nikon .NRW RAW file format - but other info on this camera seems to indicate that the .NRF files can only be processed on a PC Vista platform - Does that sound right?

Raw is not really a format, it's a container for raw sensor data and since the sensor usually changes with each new model, the NRW or NRF for a new camera contains different data than for an older model and so existing software is not necessarily going to work.

All raw converters must add support for all new raw sensors. Since companies like Nikon and Canon have traditionally resisted releasing information on their raw specs to software companies, when a new camera comes out you always have to wait until the software people have reverse-engineered the data. Eventually there will be a Mac OS X update or Aperture update to handle this.
