Bumper - manufacturing defect?

Hello,
I've had my apple bumper for almost 1 month now and I absolutely love it. One problem I started noticing yesterday: around the dock connector, the soft silicone-like plastic is becoming detached from the hard plastic shell!!!

I love this product but I'm sure it will completely fall off in the next week or so. Seeing as bumpers now cost 29$, I think that's a very short lifespan for mine.

do you think I just got a bad batch or are all bumpers prone to this kind of tear after just 1 month?
