Trying to get Skype working on a G5 Dual something.
Skype had been working ok, but hadn't used it in many months. Upgraded to v851 & is stopped working.
Downloaded several older versions of Skype back to at least v330 & still no workie.

Did you repair Permissions and reboot after the install?
Admittedly did not repair Permissions. Reliability of OS X has lulled me to sleep. I'll give it a shot.
Also, Skype has changed its internals recently (I believe). If so, use an uninstaller that came with that version, or try 'AppCleaner' if desperate, before installing a different version.
