Nano restarts when a button is pressed.

I did a restore after I got my iPod from a friend. Pushing any button or trying to move around with the scroll wheel just causes it to restart, so it is now stuck at the language select screen. I can get into disk mode just fine, but can't get into the debug menu. I have tried going to the 1.1.2 version of the firmware since it seemed like it would fix it, but has not. Now it is back at 1.1.3. It worked before the restore.
