Question

help please.. .iweb will not show pages anymore

have 2 different full sites built and have had no problem in iweb 09.. until now. had moved pages and was publishing back to folder when . . . . it wouldn't publish... then i went to open pages in iweb and it will not show any pages or any site. i can open iweb, but the directory will not come up...

even tried to restore the application .... no go.... i now have 2 sites and, oh, about 25-plus pages lost somewhere..

any ideas?

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. Try the following:

1 - close iWeb.
2 - delete the iWeb preference file, com.apple.iWeb.plist, that resides in your User/Library/Preferences folder.
3 - go to your User/Library/Caches/com.apple.iWeb folder and delete the contents.
4 - reboot.
5 - launch iWeb and see if there's any improvement.

If that doesn't help continue:

6 - move the domain file from your User/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder to the Desktop.
7 - launch iWeb, create a new test site and save.
8 - go to the your User/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder and delete the new domain file.
9 - move your original domain file from the Desktop to the iWeb folder.
10 - launch iWeb and try again.

I am having exactly the same issue: I moved some pages around, renamed them, renamed them again, and now ALL of my blog entries are missing.

here's the deal... the key is the domain... if you have time capsule, go in and restore your domain to a previous time when it was working. i did that and everything is fixed -- thank you apple support!
