Q: Weird problem with macbook screen! (picture)

Recently the screen has started fading out to white randomly but if i just move the screen a little it goes back to normal. When the screen is fading out the mouse doesn't move and the whole screen freezes. I'm wondering if I've just had the misfortune of getting a gammy laptop as the rubber bottom started to peel off as well. Any ideas?!

So use your right finger to pull the screen right top corner towards you and use left finger and push the left top corner away from you.

Do not over pull or push.

Perform this a couple of times, it has solved my fade-to-white problem, seemingly permanently.

If it does not work, do the other way around. Right edge further from you and left edge towards you. Be gentle.

I Had the same problem so I found if I pressed on the edges of my screen there was one spot that if pressed will fix it immediatel. The problem is once i let go the problem came back, so I simply took a long strip of clear tape, put one end where I was pres and one end on the outside of my laptop. So far this has worked and I hope it continues to and helped!
