Best method to use iPhone as USB Mass Storage -- transfer files with Finder

What is the best method to use an iPhone as a USB Mass Storage device and transfer files with the Finder and access the 32GB on-board iPhone storage with programs like Word, Adobe, Excel, BBedit, etc.? Can I do this without jailbreaking and without uploading stuff to the cloud? I just want to go from the Mac to iPhone. I am presently using a BlackBerry and this is a really important feature that I need in an iPhone. Thanks.

If you want to use iPhone as a USB,you should use some iPhone transfer, as iPhone Tool Kits,iPhone Tool Kits is an easy to use utility designed to help you back up all your files on your iPhone, so that you can recover any lost or missing songs, videos, books, photos and so on.
Cucusoft iPhone Tool Kits can easily backup and transfer iPhone songs, videos, photos, SMS, call list, contacts and books (you purchased via iBook Store) to computer. And even enable your iPhone as a removable hard disk.
