Mobile Data network

Hi guys

Just got an Iphone 4 (had a 3gs before) now on vodafone

I had a problem with no 3G connection and called vodafone for support and they keep asking me to go to settings>general>network>cellular data network.

Now i only have mobile data network

can any one explain why i seem to have the works mobile data network and not cellular data network.

I called apple support and was told its because im on the latest firmware????

but i am ont he same firmware as the other iphone 4 on the contract and that says cellular

any ideas??

I've seen this before. Whether it says mobile or cellular comes from the carrier file installed on your phone, which of course comes from Vodaphone. They both mean the same thing. Connect your phone to itunes, hit the "Check for Update" button, see if a new carrier file is available. If not, don't worry about it, as there is nothing you can do.
