Do I Need to Upgrade to iTunes 10?

Do I need to upgrade to iTunes 10 as part of the iPhone 4 set-up process? I will be getting my first iPhone today or tomorrow. I am perfectly happy staying at iTunes 9.2.1 for now. I expect to upgrade to the current version of iTunes at some point, but I'm not particularly keen to do it now in conjunction with 10.0.1.
