I am unable to get any metadata to map when importing files into Final Cut Server? I must be missing something simple? I have created a test video file .mov and embedded metadata into every field eg: Album; Artist; Author; Comment; Composer; Copyright etc all with Quicktime Pro v7.6.3. Next I import the file into Final Cut Server v1.5.2, assign the default Metadata Set 'Media' and there is no metadata assigned to the asset within the Quicktime Group or any other Group.
I have created a new metadata group with many new fields and setup two way map Album (Dynamic Metadata) <--> New field with level 2 priority. Still no mapping when I import a new test file with many fields of metadata embedded?
I have seen a few posts similar to my problem but of no help.
