iPhone Simulator Black Screen

Hi, whenever I launch the iPhone Simulator just from my Applications folder I get a black screen, same happens when I change hardware and software versions of iOS. I'm running Xcode 3.2.4 and trying it from a clean install. When I try to build an app from Xcode the simulator launches in iPhone mode and just beechballs. with the same black screen.

I'm getting some stuff in the console, not sure what it all means but here it is..

I'm running an intel iMac on 10.6.4. There's also other people in the office having the exact same problems so I know it's not just my computer.

Ever happened to anyone before? Is thre a quick fix?

Thank

I did actually, forgot to post the solution on here.
What I did was create a new user account, from that account install Xcode, go into Home > Library > Application Support and copy the "iPhone Simulator" folder over to my user account.
While looking for the solution some people were having luck with just deleting the "iPhone Simulator" folder from their Application Support and re-launching iPhone Simulator.app but that didn't work for me. It did however work for one of the other Macs in the office so that might be worth a try first if you're having the same problem.

I have the same problem with Xcode 4.4.1 . My Simulator becomes translucent black and hangs without any proper log message .
I am not able to get what is happening . Does anyone suggest me resloution to get out of this.
Sometimes application or Simulator hangs just after the launh when I pressed a login button or Sometimes it hangs after few second I request a network call with in application.
No pattern .. no message to trace. Tried many things like Xcode restart and system restart like that .
Any help would be really appreciated.
