Error message 1156

I recently updated my ipod touch 2g from 3.0 to 4.0. Since it updated to 4.0 I have been getting error message 1156 when I try to log onto the itunes store on my computer. Any advice?

ipod touch 2g, Windows XP

Is that an 11556 rather than a 1156, sierra?

I did not realize the typo. You are right it's error message 11556.

🙂 Many thanks. I usually see that one reported in relation to ringtones, or parental controls ... in the course of your troubleshooting to date, have you checked on the 11556-specific suggestions from the following document?
