Logic 9, switching midi instruments when assigning controllers

I have logic 9 Express and an Edirol midi keyboard that I'd like to use for live shows. I want to be able to switch between two midi insert instruments in logic by assigining the keyboard controls so it can be done very quickly live.

I've found tutorials on assigining controllers. I can set up the keyboard/midi controller and assign buttons and dials for the various parameters of each software instrument individually but I can't figure out or get the keyboard to learn the simple command of somehow switching between software instrument tracks once selected.

In logic I have a program file that has all the software instruments I like to use assigned on different tracks.

Say I have electric piano on track 10 and an organ/synth on track 11 I want to do the equivalent of clicking the mouse on from one track to the other so the keyboard starts playing the different instrument sound.

I'm guessing it's something very basic that I'm missing? As I say I've got the keyboard to work as a controller for other commands. Any advice much appreciated!

thanks
