Any Workaround to Make the Magic Mouse Work on Glass?

Hi. Has anyone found a way for the Magic Mouse to work with glass (mine is a green tinted transparent glass, not frosted, 1/4" thick)? Has anyone tried frosted glass sticker or engravings on surface or bottom of the glass for the lasers (I believe it uses two) to reflect off from? It's ok to use a glass mouse pad like the IceMat but it's more comfortable, unlimiting and more elegant if you can just use the glass alone. Thank you in advance.
