Voice Recording: How to filter out nasal breathing sounds

Hello. I am doing a recording using "Vocals" and am running into a problem where my microphone picks up the sound of my nasal breathing. So far I have tried using "Male Speech" and "No effects". Does anyone know of what settings I could play with to filter this out?

I purchased a pretty good microphone from a music store, one that they recommended for my purposes so I'm looking for a solution I can find within the garage band settings.

Thank you very much. Actually I'm not singing, but doing speech recordings. I should have clarified that. And no the sounds are coming from my nose, it's unmistakeably very clearly in the recording, and I've done it deliberately to make sure etc.

I'll experiment with the mic position and recording volume some more to see if I can find something that helps.
