How stop Pages from opening Word documents

I've found some answers to similar questions, but not quite this one...

I just upgraded to OS 10.6, and found that now when I launch Word documents (that I want to remain as Word documents), that Pages ('09) automatically opens them.
Where can I modify this setting so the docs won't open in Pages, but rather in Word?
