Where in the world is my ROOT FOLDER

Trying to get my url on to google. Here's their instructions:
1. Download this HTML verification file. [googled569db10ab92bcdd.html]

2. Upload the file to http://www.reallifefiction.com/

3. Confirm successful upload by visiting http://www.reallifefiction.com/googled569db10ab92bcdd.html in your browser.

4. Click verify below.

Leave the HTML file in place even after verification succeeds.

I've downloaded the HTML file but don't know how to upload it to iweb and can't find the "root folder" If this is an FTP file path I'm screwed since I use MobileMe.

Arrrgggghhhhh!

Breathing. . .

Help please. . .

Your root folder for a MMe account is your iDisk/Web/Sites folder. Mount your iDisk and drag that file to that folder.

Home Folder/Library/Application Support/iWeb is the default location for the Domain.sites2 file that contains your website data. There is no way that Google, or anybody else but yourself, can access an HTML file placed in that location.

If you are publishing to MobileMe, the root folder is iDisk/Web/Sites as Old Toad has pointed out.

The URL to the HTML verification file will be....

http://web.me.com/username/Googlefilenumber.html

Once you have created an xml sitemap, it should be uploaded to the same location and can be verified by entering the following URL into the browser.....

http://web.me.com/username/sitemap.xml
