Power/lock button on iphone 4 Will not push down.

I everyone.Yesterday my lock button on top worked fine.Still had that great clicking sound from 3 months ago.Yesterday night the button on top felt very stiff and was hard to press.Today I woke up and it was extremely hard to press down.And I have to push the top very hard against a table for it to lock.I didnt spill anything on it or drop it.Is anyone else having this problem?

this sounds like a hardware malfunction you should take it in to your local genius bar and have them take a look at it I am sure they will replace the phone for you!

ive been having the exact same problem, and i would like to know if/how you resolved your problem. did you take it to an apple store for servicing, and did they service it? if so, how long did it take? did they give you a new phone? thank you in advance

apple doesn't service phones on the spot 99 percent of the time they just replace it for you
