Second hand iphone HELP !!
Hi everyone,
I'm hoping someone more technical than me may be able to help. I've been dying to get my hands on an iphone for absolutely ages and my sister has just given me her old one after upgrading to the iphone 4. She had cleared everything off it and taken the sim card out. I have purchased a new sim card on o2 (pay as you go) and inserted this as well as topping up with credit.
I have tried getting on to i-tunes as i believe i have to do this to get the phone started. It wouldn't work so i set it to restore mode. This was completed successfully by itunes but then when it gets to the next stage i get a message saying unnown error -9182 cannot connect to the store. This has been constant over the last few days and i'm tearing my hair out trying to work out a resolution so i can use the phone. I can get on to the normal itunes store and already have an itunesacc etc. Have also gone on to the security settings to make sure everything that needs to be ticked etc is (read it on a website somewhere) but nothing makesanydifferrence. I have even uninstalled and resinstalled itunes.
