Resizing Photos on iPhone - Are there settings on the phone?

How do you resize the photos on your iPhone? If there a setting so that I can make the picture size smaller? Whenever I download the pictures, they come out as very large file sizes. Any input will help. Thanks.

No. not unless a third party app can do it. search the app store.

The iPhone includes no such setting, and I haven't used a digital camera that includes such a setting either.

When emailing a photo that was captured by your iPhone, you are provided a size option for the photo after selecting Send for the message, but there is no option to reduce the size of a photo that was captured by your iPhone.

Thanks. I noticed that. I guess I could always email the pictures to myself in the smaller file size. You'd think there would be a way to do it otherwise, but oh well. Thanks for your help.

Did you look in the itunes store?

Have a look, you might be surprised that there are free apps that do this.

Search for "image resize".
