I've a 10.6.4 Server installation that's developed a "Repair Permissions" quirk I've never seen before. No matter how many times I have disk utility run it, I get the same log entires shown below. I'm not experiencing any obvious failures, but am uneasy when one system behaves differently from all the others for now apparent reason.

And of course there's the nagging curiosity thing, too.

    Those aren't permission issues; instead, the item actually there is a different type than what was expected(folders, symbolic links, ordinary files.) Click here for more information.

    Running repair permissions repeatedly won't accomplish anything. If a single pass didn't resolve whatever issue, no amount of them will.

    Thanks. Looks like it can safely be ignored, though I do find it odd that a nearly identical installation shows no such errors.
