Keyboard commands to start recording a new screen recording?

Is there a key combo to start the new screen recording in QTx? Or another app that allows you to record a presentation or meeting (with audio and video without embedding a file) without hitting a button? Any ideas and help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
