Avast Decompression bombs

Hello,
I recently installed Avast for mac and on my first run it came up as system.log.4.bz2 is a decompression bomb. I know what a decompression bomb is, but i have never actually been hit with one before. I am a new to mac user and it seems like a log file is most likely legit. Should i be worried about this file? or is it just a miss read by my avast software?

From what I gathered from it, you do not need to worry about it. The question is: why did you feel the need to install this software? These anti-virus apps sometimes cause more problems than they fix, especially since there are no known viruses for Mac at this time. Please read this excellent article:
