Reinstalling Windows 7 on Bootcamp Partition

Hello mac users

I need to reinstall Windows 7 Professional 64-bit on my bootcamp partition.

Can I simply reformat my Windows bootcamp partition and reinstall Windows 7 without effecting the mac partition?

Any tech docs out there on best methodology?

Thanks in advance
Brad

I was unwittingly sold an illegal OEM Windows 7....I'm going to buy from a more reputable source and install Windows 7 Retail version (buying software in Vietnam is a nightmare).

I was planning on using Mac Disk Utility to do one of two things to reinstall Windows 7:
a) Restore to single Mac Partition
or
b) Erase the disk and create a single partition for Windows (not sure I want to use this option as I'm not sure if it affects the Mac partition).

After running one of these options I was just going to run the Bootcamp Windows installation like I did the first time....

So are you saying I don't have to do this?

Can I simply log into my Windows Bootcamp Partition and boot from DVD and format/install? I assume this erases everything on Windows Partition and installs Windows 7 over the old illegal version?

Of course I will back up all data (windows and mac)

Thanks for your help (just bought Mac a month ago for first time).
