Watch IPOD Movies on Airplane - Adapter

Will be taking very long flight and learned I can plug my IPOD touch into the airplane entertainment system so that the IPOD movies show up on the seat video terminal. But can't find any adapter to this? That is, looking for the adapter/cord that will allow IPOD touch to plug into airplane video/audio system. Flight is on long-haul Continental biz class.

We need some more information about the "airplane video/audio system" connector. Have you tried contacting the airline?

yes, tried, but no answer. online it says that one can buy an adapter that allows plugging from IPOD touch into airplane's AVOD system.

I Googled but did not find any details to help. Googling did turn up this post. I would continue to call some one at the airline/airport.

They are built into the seat connections. You don't need to purchase an adapter. You get one to use when you board.
