Delete Game Data from Game Center

Hello,
I installed a free game to watch the game support center,
I have deleted and then I clicked (wrong) they did not want to delete from Game Center (the data).
Now I want to delete one of the games associated with Game Center, how can I delete data? I tried to install and remove the game again, but the iPhone does not ask me to remove data from game center.

I want to know too. I have the same issue. The games in game center can't kill!!

Worked for me. Just install the game again and play some with it...than delete it. If it's correct it will ask you if you want to delete the data also. Good luck!

My problem with re-downloading the game to delete it is that a few of the games were downloaded when they were Free-App-A-Day games. now they cost money i am unwilling to spend just to delete them.

Oh grief...people need to learn a bit about the stuff they use...

When you own a game, you OWN IT FOR LIFE. As long as you make sure that this is the exact same game, you can redownload for free. Go download the Twitter app (free), then delete it, then redownload it. You'll get a message saying that the update is free because you had downloaded it before.

This also works with non-consumable in-app purchases. Just go download it.

that's actually really good news. don't know why i never figured that out before. There was a game i had deleted but decided i wanted back so now i can.

In fairness Apple really could have come up with a better interface where it doesn't look like it wants to charge you again. Isn't it the case as well that you can't re-download songs that you've previously purchased?

Yeah, iTunes does that, but I never use iTunes to purchase music (I rip my CDs).

They're starting to make it better. The iPad now actually says "Install" instead of "Buy" if you bought the app, which is nice. Agreed that they need a better system, however.

Ok, what about the situation in which the game is now unavailible in the app store. I have the game's data in game center. I uninstalled the game (and pressed the wrong button - keeping the data). The app has since been removed from the store. How can I delete the data now?

Is the app still in your Apps section of iTunes Library? If you've deleted it from the iPhone/iPad, the app should still be in iTunes unless you deleted from iTunes as well. The only reason it wouldn't be there is if you purchased the app on your device and had not sync'ed it (backed it up) to your computer.

You can transfer the app back onto your iDevice. You need to connect the device, select it in iTunes, click on Apps menu across top and select it from the list of apps.
