Brick Iphone after Gigabyte on/off charge

Hey all,

Just bought a new pc motherboard and saw it had a feature(gigabyte on/off charge) to charge iphone 40% faster. I excitedly download the new feature and put me iphone for charging. My phone now wont do anything it will only show a black screen, it wont start or restart or anything neither will go to restore mode and pc wont recognise it. Did it burn my phone hardware? Great feature from gigabyte if this is what happened.

Iphone 2g, iPhone OS 3.1.3

Welcome to the discussions,
did you try to charge it using the adapter? If this does not work, you might have to get it serviced.
If it is charging, try to use another computer to connect to. Make sure that autosync in iTunes is disabled on that computer before you connect.

Hey,

Yeah I tried all that from the start, adapter/other pc. Iphone wont respond at all, its just dead.

its just dead.

In that case, contact Apple or visit your next Apple Store and see if they can do anything.

finally got it today after repair, paid 65quids they told me it was the mb
But when i put it on charger i just get the beep and then the charging stop and phone switchs off (on wall charger)

Is it still a hardware issue or can be fixed manualy?
