iTunes account won't accept my credit card security code

I can't get it to accept my security code, which means no access to iTunes!

What gives??

If it is an AMEX card, you need to use the number on the front of the card.

Thanks for the reply. I was actually aware of that. I haven't changed a thing on my account, the card is the same card I've used for a couple of years, and suddenly, it doesn't like the security code. Entered it dozens of times.

What's the deal!?!

I am trying to re-connect my phone to a new installation of iTunes and I'm having the same problem. I know I have the correct security code, but the site won't accept it. Truly frustrating.

This has happened to me before. I used MasterCC. i eneded up calling and getting handled that way yeah buddy

what number and exact support reason did you use? i went through three people before reaching an itunes person and all he did was send me to apple.com/support/itunes which is useless. it is still not accepting my CC info.

Did you make sure that your card isn't expired? Right billing address?

This exact issue started for me last night. The card has never been declined. Funds are available. The security code is the same as it was yesterday when I had no problems purchasing from iTunes store. This is frusterating because i cant even download free apps right now. I also tried an all together different card. Same issue.
