How to fax using iMac

How to fax using iMac

I'm wondering if there is a work around for this issue. My new iMac doesn't have an internal modem, like my past Macs have had. I used Pagesender with my previous machines. Is there some way I can send faxes from my iMac, whether I continue using Pagesender or not?

iMac 3.06 GHz Intel Core i3, Mac OS X (10.6.4)

You can buy an external modem; you may even find the one Apple was offering for a while on ebay..... or, if you have an all-in-one printer which offers fax capabilities, you can use it (my Epson does that; however, I have to use the screen on the Epson to fax).

No, I don't have VOIP - just an old-fashioned landline....

Hi, as an addendum:-
I have to say my 24” is superb, I’m somewhat sorry I was so indecisive over the glossy screens..
Should have maybe gone for the 27” from day one...
Yes, they do have a few reflections but overall a really great experience..L
