Downloads from Audible.com to Itunes to Nano HUGE

I have downloaded some audiobooks from Audible.com. Audible.com says the audiobooks are 118 mbs, 137 mbs., etc. I have a new 16 gb. Nano. I put three audiobooks on there and NO music or pictures and the Nano is full. What is going on? It's like each book is coming in at over 4 gbs....

The largest Audible book I have is a little over 250Mb with most less than 200Mb and I'm downloading the highest quality files they have. Check your sync settings to ensure you do not have other files auto-syncing. If the Other category in the iPods Capacity meter in iTunes is showing a large amount Restore it to regain this space. Restore will erase all content off the iPod and return it to factory settings. A bad sync can corrupt the data on an iPod showing it as Other.
