4th Gen iPod Touch is lower in speaker volume than 3rd Gen

Hello Everybody

I have recently purc hased a 4th Generation Apple iPod Touch.
I read in all the online reviews that 4th Generation iPod Touch's built-in external speaker outputs better if not significantly better audio output.

A quote from ilounge Apple iPod Touch 4th Generation review.

"Surprise: it’s better. It’s loud enough that you can emulate the second- and third-generation touch’s maximum volume at the 65% or 70% mark on the fourth-generation model."

But i am noticing a significantly lower loudness in my iPod Touch 4G 😟

Anybody noticing the same issue?

I'm having a similar problem, but more extreme. I purchased an iTouch 4th generation which worked fine for a month or so, only to have the external speaker stop working all together. I returned it to Best Buy, and they gave me a new one.

Now the new 4G iTouch is doing the same thing, but a little different. I can listen to my voice recorder using my external speaker, but I can't hear anything else (YouTube, other apps) through the external speaker.

I've checked my settings countless times, and can't figure out what's up. Another trip to Best Buy? Or is it me?
