Hi

As I remember this it needs a FireWire Cable to be used with iMovie or FinalCut.

USB-Cable do not work.

There is no need for any driver - just a FW-Cable

From Camera Spec.
1.0 x USB ( Mini-phone stereo 3.5 mm ) ,
1.0 x Headphones ( 4 pin USB Type B ) ,
1.0 x Control-L (LANC) ( 4 pin FireWire ) ,
1.0 x Audio input / output ( Sub-mini phone stereo 2.5 mm ) ,
1.0 x Microphone ( Mini-phone stereo 3.5 mm ) ,
1.0 x Composite video/audio (input/output) ,
*1.0 x IEEE 1394 (FireWire/i.LINK)*

Cheque Your Mac to see if it has a FW-400 (6-pin) or FW-800 (9-pin) connector !

Camera connector most often are a 4-pin FW.

Yours Bengt W
