Currently Being ModeratedOct 20, 2010 5:37 PM (in response to Doug Lerner2)It's just a new name. Calling it facetime camera really isn't all that logical since it's just an ordinary webcam. iSight wasn't a very good name either. But I guess webcam isn't either. So let's just call it Whitney Huston.
If you open up a specific model and look under tech specs you should find the weight.
About speed of a flash drive, they talk about twice the performance or something, but that's just at raw write/read-tests.MacBook Aluminium, Mac OS X (10.6.4), Have a gaming PC with Windows 7 aswell. And a iPhone 3GS.

That used to be in the compare column.
Well, maybe it's there somewhere. It's just become harder to find if it is.

Currently Being ModeratedOct 20, 2010 6:24 PM (in response to Doug Lerner2)The weight info is show in under the "Tech Specs" tab at the top. The info is in the upper left corner of the screen after selecting that. you select another tab just under the top to choose between the 11" and 13".Mac Book Pro (Nov 2008), Mac OS X (10.6.4), 2.53GHz Intel Core 2 Duo,7200 rpm HD, 4GB SDRAM, 6Mb cache, 160GB Ipod Classic

For the new lineup at http://www.apple.com/why-mac/compare/notebooks.html the MacBook Air lists a FaceTime camera rather than an iSight camera.
What's the difference?
Also, the chart doesn't show the weights of each model anymore. Does anybody know where those are listed?
This page (Page-Down) says it the FT Cam is thinner than the iSight:
Until Apple publishes more technical data or someone gets and test a new MBAir, that is the best I can offer.
By the by, how does Flash Drive speed compare to, say, a 7200 rpm hard drive?
It depends. Some info here:
You can search the web to compare Mac SSD performance to HD. There is a lot out there.
