Apple TV & GarageBand

Anyone know if it is possible to run GarageBand through Apple TV/

iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.4)

Yes. Go to Preferences>Audio/Midi>Audio Output>Airplay. It will change your driver settings but it's that easy to switch back at any time. It will not work while a track is playing, so pause it first. You can pause it with the space bar even while you are in the menu and your options should become available. It works great with my setup (MacBook Pro [running on Mavric] and Apple TV 2nd Gen.).

Another option is to run it through Mirroring which I find less reliable, but it still works if you get your mirroring set up BEFORE pushing play. Sometimes the sound doesnt mirror, but usually it's when it's rushed, so get your mirroring connected and working first before playing any audio. If it doesnt work, make sure you have a good wifi connection and start over, maybe even closing Garage band while you connect, then it ought to work out (most of the time).
