My MacBook Pro 13" 2010 model won't charge

Hi everyone, 2 days ago I got my first ever mac. Its the MacBook Pro 13". I used it for a few hours before charging it, the power adaptor has been in all day but is not charging the battery. the light on the adaptor is orange is this right? as I have seen lots of people mentioning green lights. The Battery info is as follows I hope somebody can help.
