Photo captions on iPad

When I synch from iPhoto on my iMac to the photo app on my iPad, I lose the titles/captions. Is there any way of keeping these titles so they show on my iPad?

iMac 2007, iPad, Mac OS X (10.6.4)

No. That is one of the drawbacks of the Photo app. There are no file titles nor way to read the exif data.

It certainly is a drawback. Is there any way to push Apple to provide a remedy for this? I have recently toured Europe and took around 1000 photos, went to great lengths to caption them all on my iMac, but was dismayed when they didn't come across to my iPad. The iPad is great for showing relatives and friends photos but I can't remember all the captions and in any case, the iPad is meant for a single user who would like to know what they are looking at!
